《重返天堂島》TheBBCwillairReturntoParadise,anewAustralia-setspin-offfromoneoftheUK’smostwatcheddramasDeathinParadise.Filmingnextyear,thesix-partserieswillbeproducedbyBBCStudiosProductionsAustraliawithRedPlanetPicturesfortheABC,inassociationwiththeBBC.Setintheidyllic,beachsidehamletofDolphinCove,ReturntoParadiseissixgripping,twistingandfiendishlyclevermurdermysteries–allagainstthespectacularbackdropoftheAustraliancoastallandscape.Australianex-patMackenzieClarkeistheseeminglygoldengirloftheLondonMetropolitanpoliceforce–withanintuitiveapproachtodetectivework,shehasbuiltareputationforbeingabletocrackthemostimpossibleofcases.However,she’ssuddenlyforcedtoupsticksandmovebacktoherchildhoodhomeofDolphinCove,abeautiful,coastalparadise…andMackenzie’sworstnightmare.Havingescapedherhometownattheearliestopportunitysixyearsago,Mackvowedshe’dnevercomeback,leavingalotofunfinishedbusinessandunansweredquestions.Onherreturnshe’sstillnofanofthetown,andthepeopleofDolphinCovearecertainlynofansofhers.Infacteveryonewouldpreferhernottobethere,includingMackenzieherself.ButwhenamurdertakesplaceinDolphinCove,Mackcan’thelpbutputherinspireddetectivebrilliancetogooduseanddetermines,despiteherreservations,thatsheneedstomakethebestofit,includingtyingupthelooseendswiththemansheleftatthealtarsixyearsago.
